In this Task, the structural and fragility modeling capacity developed and calibrated in Tasks 2, 3, and 4 will be applied to analyze design variations of the archetype buildings identified in Task 1. The objective of this exercise is to investigate the impact of design choices on the seismic responses of realistic tall wood buildings. A significant amount of analysis will be conducted in this Task to provide information on the potential of archetype wood buildings identify critical components/sub-assembly systems that will impact building resilience. This information will form a knowledge base for the development of RBSD methodology in Task 6, and design/testing of the full-scale CLT specimen building in Tasks 7 and 8.
